Biography

Dr. Wendel-Mitoraj is CEO and Founder of BrainCare Oy (Ltd). She obtained her BSc in Electrical Engineering and then worked for Samsung Austin Semiconductor (Austin, Texas, USA) as a photolithography engineer. After relocating to Tampere, Finland, she earned her doctorate in computational modeling of EEG electrodes. During her post-doctoral tenure, she designed and patented the electrode strips and developed the BrainCare concept. She negotiated and acquired for BrainCare Oy the intellectual property assets developed at Tampere University of Technology (Tampere, Finland). She strategically focused on bringing SOENIAâ„¢ Epilepsy Diary and Cloud as a first medical device compliant product to the market. Her current focus is bringing the novel electrode to the market.
